The Herm Sprenger prong collar combines outstanding quality with an innovative design for effective dog training. Made from high-quality stainless steel, it is the epitome of durability and safety.
The model with assembly chain offers a limited traction, while the center plate, as with all other SPRENGER prong collars, relieves the dog's sensitive larynx. In addition, all links of the chain are rounded to prevent any risk of injury. The swivel prevents the lead from becoming wedged as it rotates with every movement. You can replace the center plate with our ClicLock clasp if necessary to make attaching the collar even quicker and easier. As the chain is slipped over the dog's head, please take the head circumference into account when selecting the size!
The shorter links enable a more precise action with a greater wire gauge and offer an alternative to the 2.25 mm training collar. This makes the collar particularly suitable for very active dogs for which the 2.25 mm would not be strong enough, e.g. Malinois.
Please note that the prong collar is only recommended for use on a lead and during training. It is not suitable for off-leash use or during travel.
