For the black stainless steel variant, the surface of the material is blackened through a galvanic process and subsequently polished. As this is not a permanent coating, an attractive antique finish will develop through friction during use. We therefore recommend using a CUROGAN collar for dogs with very light or white fur to reduce the risk of coat discoloration.

Please note that the use of the prong collar is recommended exclusively on a leash and during training. It is not suitable for off-leash activities, transport, or similar applications.
