The Herm Sprenger prong collar combines outstanding quality with an innovative design for effective dog training. Made from high-quality stainless steel, it is the epitome of durability and safety. This model with assembly chain and ring for leashing offers a limited pull, while the center plate, as with all other SPRENGER prong collars, relieves the dog's sensitive larynx. In addition, all links of the chain are rounded to prevent any risk of injury. If necessary, the center plate can be replaced with our stainless steel ClicLock clasp to make putting on the chain quick and easy. As the collar is slipped over the dog's head, please take the head circumference into account when selecting the size!
Please note that the prong collar is only recommended for use on a lead and during training. It is not suitable for off-leash use or during travel.

For the quality stainless steel black, a galvanic process is used to blacken the surface of the material, then polished. Since it’s not a permanent coating, an attractive antique finish will result from friction during use.
We therefore recommend that dogs with very light or white coats use a chain made of CUROGAN to reduce the risk of coat discoloration.
